Photoshop



Create 5 textures using filters in photoshop.
Start out by creating a 5" x 5" image 200 resolution.
Start by going to filters/render/clouds. Then experiment with all the different filter effects. Each texture you create use a minimum of 5 filter effect. On the 6th texture, open an image of yourself and use the liquify filter effect to distort yourself.

-Add Color : Command + B (Color Balance)

-Change color : Command + U (Hue/Saturation)

Assignment: Illustrator Building Gallery

Description: Using SketchUp create a building structure to show off your Illustrator work. Add color, landscape, import illustrator images. Finally we will animate a walk through of the building structure.

Description:Pick something to design. T-shirt, Magazine cover, Poster, Advertisement, Characters, Game levels, Background or anything else you can think of.

Week 3

Sept 7-10, 2010

Create your own business and design five different variations of your logo.

Your logo must be a vector art graphics, no images on your logo. You can trace with the pen tool or download fonts to get clip art if you want.

Welcome to Multimedia. This semester you will be learning how to use Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, html, Film editing and many other software programs. Multimedia takes patience and practice but can be very rewarding. Each week you will be given an assignment do the best you can do. All of your assignments will be placed in an electronic portfolio.

Every day on the board answer the starter quest in the first 5 minutes of class.

Illustrator is a Vector based tool used to create logos, clip art, t-shirt designs, and many other graphics. Learned how to use the Selection Tool, Moving objects, creating rectangles, ellipses, changing color of the fill and stroke, Duplicating, rotating. Went over the Zoom tool, Align, and Pathfinder.
